Tax Information

In general, all compensation provided to an employee is included in taxable wages unless an exception is provided by law. An exception may apply for federal employment taxes, federal income tax withholding, state income tax or all.

Illinois State University is subject to requirements for withholding, depositing, and filing income and employment tax returns for wages paid.
