My Paycheck

Payday is the 15th and end of each month.

  • Hourly employees are paid on a semi-monthly basis. Hours worked from the 1st of the month to the 15th of the month are paid at the end of the month. Hours from the 16th of the month to the end of the month are paid on the 15th of the following month.
  • Salaried employees are paid on either a semi-monthly or monthly basis depending upon their employee classification.
  • Civil Service employees are paid for the 1st of the month to the 15th of the month on the 15th of the month, and for the 16th of the month to the end of the month at the end of the month.
  • Faculty and Academic salaried employees are paid for the 1st of the month to the end of the month at the end of the month.

Enroll in direct deposit so your funds will be in your account on payday. If you have not yet enrolled, use Employee Self-Service through MyIllinoisState. You may also fill out the Direct Deposit Authorization Form and return it to the University Payroll Office in person, by mail, by faxing 309-438-3357, or by secure form Dropbox Sensitive Form Submission

Employees who desire to update their direct deposit via Employee Self-Service must be on an Illinois State Network or using Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). For assistance with MFA, contact the Technology Support Center at (309) 438-4357 or SupportCenter@IllinoisState.edu.
